The GCC Tango Club's purpose is to serve as an introduction to social dance via teaching and facilitating the practice of Argentine Tango; promote the artistic merit of dance in social settings as well as performance-based settings; serve as an avenue for members to maintain regular physical activity; serve as a space where people can socialize and make connections through their shared interest of tango and to recognize the culture from which Argentine tango originated.
