To help you plan your year, here are important dates for GCC students. These include observed holidays, breaks, class registration, tuition due dates, final exams and more.

| Mar 3 | Summer & Fall Priority (VIP) Registration for currently enrolled Students |
| Mar 3 | Student withdrawal from Spring classes with instructor’s signature begins++ |
| Mar 10-16 | Spring Break for students and staff - Campus Closed |
| Mar 17 | Summer & Fall Open Registration begins for all students |
| Apr 1 | Application for May graduation due |
| May 4 | Last day of Spring classes |
| May 5-9 | Final Exams week for Spring classes |
| May 9 | Spring semester ends |
| May 9 | Commencement Ceremony |
Summer classes will have final examinations during their regular class time. The Summer 2025 semester calendar is subject to the 2025-2026 Academic Catalog.

Start dates may be modified to meet special needs. Some courses may be offered over periods for which these dates are not applicable.
+ Through the 7th week, you may initiate an official withdrawal from course(s) without your instructor's signature (see 2.3.6 Withdrawal in Catalog Common Pages).
