Band
Further your music education and gain valuable performance experience in the Glendale Community College Band program. This large ensemble experience for brass, woodwind and percussion students includes performance opportunities in the Symphonic Winds and the Glendale Community Band. The Symphonic Winds will provide the large ensemble experience and fulfill the large ensemble requirement for completion of the Music Degree Requirements for the Music Education Degree.

Symphonic Winds
MUP162 is an advanced music ensemble designed to prepare all styles of band literature from the classics to contemporary. The band meets 4 days a week as it prepares for performances both on and off-campus. The band has been recognized as a leader in providing quality music experiences for students beyond their high school years. Auditions and Instructor approval may be needed. Community Band
MUP161 meets Tuesday evenings, 7:00p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Emphasis in this class is for the adult learner. If you were in a high school band, or played in your collegiate band, you can still play your instrument at GCC in the Community Band. Instructor approval is required.
