Ottawa University Auditions
Earn a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education at Ottawa University studying with GCC's amazing Music Faculty!
Audition video submissions for Fall 2021 are due October 30 and online interviews will be held November 5, 2021.

Theatre Audition Information
Theatre General Audition Recommendations
In most academic years, GCC produces four theatrical productions.
- Prepared a fully memorized 1 minute monologue. If auditioning for a musical please prepare both a monologue and 32 bars of a song. (style depends upon the show)
- For those without a prepared monologue, a cold read monologue may be available at the time of the audition.
- Prepared Slate ( introduction ) will consist of a greeting; the actor’s name; the title of the play and playwright from which the audition selection is taken. If from a musical, also include title of song, composer, and lyricist.
- Bring an acting resume and headshot to the audition. If you do not have a headshot, bring a printed picture of yourself that can be taken off your cell phone. NO selfies, please.
- If cast, actors will be required to register for one credit of THP201AA Theatre Production (for non-musicals) or THP273 Musical Theatre Production (for musicals).
Anyone from the community may audition for GCC Theatre & Film Arts productions; If cast, the actor must also register for one credit hour of either THP201AA or THP273 courses mentioned above.
