Working at GCC Campuses (Main and North): Federal Work-Study, Part-time & Full-time Opportunities
Federal Work-Study (FWS)
The Financial Aid office awards current students who have completed their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and meet eligibility requirements to work part-time at GCC's main or north campuses through the Federal Work-Study program. Students can follow the steps below to view their FWS award and find campus employment:
- Log onto the Maricopa Student Center using your MEID and password.
- Under the Finances section, click “View Financial Aid”, and then select the current Aid Year.
- Your Award Description states "Federal Work-Study", Category is "Work/Study", and the award amount is posted.
- To view available FWS campus jobs, visit the Maricopa Community College's district website.

Part-Time Jobs
- Jobs through Maricopa Community College: Students and non-students can work at either GCC main or north campuses if part-time job opportunities are posted through the Maricopa Community College's district website.
- Click on View Job Listings.
- Click View All Jobs to view jobs at all 10 colleges.
- Jobs can be searched by title, location or keyword; or by navigating the left-hand menu area.
- Click on the job title of interest.
- Read through the job posting and the instructions on How to Apply.
- To apply, click the Apply to Job button on the upper right-hand corner.
- Job seekers will have to either create a profile or sign-in at the prompt.
- Upload resume, cover letter and other required documents, along with completing each page to complete the application.
- Jobs through Maricopa PipelineAZ: Create a profile on the Maricopa PipelineAZ - Students, Alumni and Community Members can create profiles according to their current college status
- Once your profile is created, hover over 'Career Exploration'; Click on 'Companies' and use the keyword search tool and type "Glendale Community College" to view all open jobs
- Click on the job to view its detail and apply
- You can also hover over 'Career Exploration'; click on 'Jobs' to view all jobs available through the platform.

Resumes (and sometimes cover letters) are required for FWS, part-time and full-time positions during the application process.
