Whether you are looking to earn an Associate degree in one of our comprehensive performing arts programs, learn a new skill in music, music technology, dance or theatre or participate in one of our many performing groups for majors, non-majors and community members, the Performing Arts Department at Glendale Community College has many options for you to explore.

Degrees and Certificates

The Performing Arts Department offers Associate of Arts, Fine Arts (AA,FA) degrees with an Emphasis in either of following:*

These degrees above can be transferred to Arizona’s three state universities.**

The Department’s Music Industry Studies program offers Associate of Applied Sciences degrees and Certificates of Completion as following:

Certificates of Completions are also available as following: 

  • Technical Theatre
  • Technical Theatre: Audio Technician
  • Technical Theatre: Costuming
  • Technical Theatre: Stage Crew Technician

As well as any of our humanities classes in dance, theatre and music (MHL). Community dancers can audition to become a member of our residential dance company - Verve.
