Bio

Biography

Shana Hornstein, Ph.D., BCBA-D is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, certified Special Education teacher, and teaches in the Developmental Disabilities Specialist Certificate program at GCC. Courses taught include Psychology of Developmental Disabilities and Understanding and Changing Behavior. She grew up in Phoenix and has also lived in Tucson, Seattle, Nashville, London, and Philadelphia. Dr. Hornstein is interested in using scientific, evidence-based practices to change behaviors, whether it is developing a new habit or teaching a person with a developmental disability how to communicate.
