Silent Sky

The true story of 19th-century astronomer Henrietta Leavitt explores a woman’s place in society during a time of immense scientific discoveries when women’s ideas were dismissed until men claimed credit for them.

Something's Afoot
Book, Music and Lyrics by James McDonald, David Vos and Robert Gerlach, Additional Music by Ed Linderman
A zany, entertaining musical that takes a satirical poke at Agatha Christie mysteries and musical styles of the English music hall of the 1930s. Ten people are stranded in an isolated English country house during a raging thunderstorm. One by one, they’re picked off by cleverly fiendish devices.

Musical Direction by Ken Goodenberger
Performance dates: April 5-6 and April 11-13.
Auditions and Callbacks
Monday, December 4, 2023 | 3:30-7:30 p.m., at the Performing Arts Center (PAC)
An appointment is recommended but not required to audition. Those without appointments may need to wait.
Audition Requirements for either production
- Please prepare a 1-2 minute contemporary monologue or a cold read we give you.
- Please bring your headshot and résumé.
- Before you perform, you must include a verbal slate.
Additional Audition Requirement for the Musical Production
- 32 Bars of a “Golden Age” song (either a capella or with recorded music you provide)
Callbacks for Silent Sky
Callbacks will be held on Tuesday, December 5, at 4:30 p.m. at the PAC.
- You will perform cold reads from the script.
- Please bring your schedule of conflicts.
Callbacks for Something's Afoot
Callbacks will be held on Wednesday, December 6, at 3:30 p.m. at the PAC.
- You will perform cold reads from the script.
- Please be prepared to dance.
- You will perform portions of the song score.
- Please bring your schedule of conflicts
