Administration of Justice
Administration of Justice (AJS) courses prepare students to begin careers in law enforcement, corrections and probations, criminal justice and rehabilitation, victim advocacy and public agency management. Current law enforcement professionals can earn certificates in investigation that position them for career advancement.
Our faculty, both current and retired law enforcement professionals, attorneys, paralegals and correction department employees, bring decades of knowledge and experience to the classroom. Students will discuss industry theories and get practical, hands-on training in a curriculum designed to graduate knowledgeable, ethical public service professionals.
Careers in Administration of Justice
With an associate degree in Administration of Justice, students will be prepared for entry-level public service jobs in corrections. This degree transfers to the following bachelor’s programs:
- Justice Studies at ASU Main Campus
- Justice Studies & Criminology at ASU West Campus
- Criminal Justice at NAU

Administration of Justice faculty brings a depth of knowledge and real-world experience to the classroom. You'll be taught by retired and current law enforcement professionals, attorneys, paralegals and correction department employees from the cities of Phoenix, Glendale and Peoria, ASU West and GCC College Safety, the County Attorney's Office, Adult Probation, Arizona Department of Corrections and the private sector.
