Mopar Career Automotive Program

Glendale Community College is part of a nation-wide program sponsored by Mopar Career Automotive Program (Mopar CAP) to train and employ entry-level automotive technicians for its Chrysler, Dodge, Ram and Jeep dealerships.  As a student in the Mopar CAP you can choose to earn a certificate or Associate of Applied Science degree.  Both the certificate and degree provides students with classroom sessions, hands-on training in state-of-the-art facilities and dealership service department work experience.  Students in the Mopar CAP can complete corporate service training requirements that authorizes them to perform warranty service work.

Once accepted into this associate degree program, the Mopar CAP student will be issued a Service Technician I.D. and password at no cost. This will give the Mopar CAP student access to online service manuals and web-based course assignments.

Mopar CAP students will attend 3 class/shop sections at GCC each semester.  The student may have the opportunity to be employed at the student's sponsoring Chrysler dealership.

How to Enroll

The first step is to meet with a Mopar CAP program coordinator to find out how to become a student. Read more apprenticeship program requirements.

Program Details

The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree curriculum was designed by Mopar CAP and Glendale Community College, and all instructors have been trained in the most current Chrysler technology.

Students work on late-model vehicles, components, and instructional materials provided by Mopar CAP, which has also provided the tools and diagnostic equipment used during hands-on training sessions.

This is a two-year associate degree program that gives students an opportunity to work as an intern technician under the direction of the sponsoring dealership’s technicians.
