Davis Hester

Davis is a second-year men’s basketball student-athlete who has accomplished a tremendous amount of feats in his 4 semesters. Davis is a presidential scholar, currently holding a 3.9 GPA and will graduate with his AA degree in Psychology this May. Davis also served as one of the representatives for men’s basketball on the Student Advisory Athletic Council this year. He has done numerous community service events throughout his time at GCC, volunteering with St. Mary’s food bank, Club United at Christ Church of the Valley, and for the Special Education Games here in the west valley. Davis was a second-team All-Region selection this year. His 15.6 points per game was 10th best in the league, and his 81 3-point field goals made were the 4th most in the ACCAC this season. In two years at GCC, Davis scored 738 points, which ranks second most by any Gauchos in the past 6 seasons, and his 135 made 3-point field goals for his career are the most by anyone during that time-frame. Davis is still uncommitted, but will be deciding on where he will be playing next season very soon.
