Your Safety is Our Priority
Glendale Community College police officers patrol and monitor both campuses to ensure a safe and secure learning environment for students, staff, faculty and visitors. College Police officers also provide traffic control, safety hazard identification, employee training and orientation, and collaboration with the Glendale Police Department when needed.
The Commander of College Police and all campus police officers have full peace officer authority, including arrest authority under Arizona Revised Statutes (ARS) Title 13-3883 and as further defined by the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board.

Student Safety and Security Suggestions
Glendale Community College is not liable for thefts and/or damages occurring on campus grounds. The following suggestions, however, are offered for your consideration, guidance and reference.
- Immediately report all accidents, damage or thefts to College Police, located in the College Police Building.
- Close all vehicle windows and lock all doors.
- Keep all personal items out of plain view.
- Report all suspicious activities and/or persons to College Police.
- Use the buddy system, especially after dark. Escorts are available from the College Police Department. Call 480-784-0900, or on-campus extension 40900, to request an escort.
- Attend free personal safety classes and other seminars when offered by the College Police Department.

Lost and Found
All lost and found items are taken to your College Police office, no matter where on campus the item was found. Visit the GCC College Police office to report a lost item, to drop off a found item, or to claim your lost item.

Designated Safe Places at GCC
The College Police office, GCC Library Media Center and the GCC North Library are designated “safe places” where anyone in need of shelter from abuse can find help.
College Police - North
The office of College Police for GCC North Campus is located in room A-154, in the easternmost building of the Agua Sal Complex at the northeast corner of the campus.
